One of the oldest ryokans throughout Japan, Asaba established in the year of 1675. The stage for " No ", one of the three traditional Japanese performances, is constructed in the garden of 600 square meters. Guests may watch the performance, if the performance is being on the stage(it is irregular). Every guest rooms face the lake and has private rotemburo ( hotspring ) in the room. Two people stay in room-name " Tesen ", Three people stay in room-name " Hagi " or in " Fuji ", Four people stay in room-name " Matskaze" or in " Tenko " , and Five people stay in room-name " Ugetsu " .
